The way I read the article the author sounds like a big fan.... she is just disappointed that the film took so many liberties with the feel and substance of the original games. Why cant people just appreciate the work that goes into a movie or game? I love every Silent Hill game and I also love the movie. I am extremely excited for the next movie. I honestly think that only a rare breed can truely GET Silent Hill. If you dont absolutely love it, then you arent part of that breed. I once heard someone say, &quot;the little girl is a terrible actor.&quot; Afraid not, she is just from Silent Hill shes supposed to be that way. People mistake the weirdness as bad acting. The next game and movie will bring me back to the eerie town I have always known and loved.
